As the title really. They look fairly good. Is it worth the extra for a Dyson version? (Lots of girls with long hair in the house so we would probably buy a pet version)

We have a Dyson Absolute V6 and yes I would recommend it. It's fantastic and so much less faff than messing about with a corded vac. Since getting our dyson our 'big' vac has been sat in a cupboard for months.

We have the BOSCH Athlet and I love it! I have long hair that is constantly falling out, damn you post-pregnancy hair loss + messy baby + cat (with severe litter flicking tendencies) and it does the job fantastically. Loads of different speeds and light to carry up and down stairs plus it charges fast.
Parents have the new Dyson pet one and dont rate it, said the suction is too strong or too weak with not much middle ground and the battery life isn't great. They do have a massive house though!

Hoover (was new very recently and is blue but I can't call the exact model).

Would absolutely recommend but not for the whole house. Fantastic for e.g. "what's that on the rug?!" and for going round bedroom furniture, and stairs in particular, but I prefer my clunky Henry for routine "all the downstairs floors in one go" vacuuming. DH would give up the Henry tomorrow but I won't - yet, maybe ever.

But it means I'm glad to vacuum. I have always HATED vacuuming so that's a really big deal.

I have the Dyson DC59. Very good. Handy and powerful for its size. Made quick work of my car carpets. In the house, we only have carpet upstairs, but it’s powerful enough for that.

The best thing is it’s quick and easy to use, so picking up crumbs etc doesn’t entail fmdragging your vacuum out of the cupboard, plugging in, trailing cord etc

I refuse to give Dyson any of my money after he bugged up brecht then moved his factories to Europe. I have the Shark and its great, I got the 2 battery option Nd it coped with carpets, wooden floors and tiles floors as well as 4 people with extremely long curly hair that falls out everywhere. I love it that it bends under the sofa and all the attachments are great. My mum has the gtech and loves that as well.

I have a GTech AirRam and love it - I'd never go back to a cumbersome, corded vac. The Multi-tool is also great - with the long dusting brush on it's reduced the amount of actual dusting I do and is gentle enough for delicate things like chandeliers.

It's powerful and the battery lasts well. I also hated using the vac before because it was such a faff, but now I vac more often as it's so quick to just flit round.

I have a 3 year old dyson cordless and it is really really useful for whipping around quickly. It's light and easy to use and excellent for the car. However we have also just bought a corded shark and the difference in pick up is amazing. The dyson just couldn't do the whole house in the battery time and the suction just isn't there. I think we have the ideal setup now (although at silly expense!) in some ways the dyson is like the best ever carpet sweeper but you still need a proper vac.

Love our Dyson V7 but doesn’t quite replace the Henry. Dyson is great for all the random vacuuming DH seems to want to do - from hair in the bedroom carpet, to crumbs all over the lounge from my late night breastfeeding munchies. But proper deep clean the flat vacuuming needs the Henry.

I have the absolute V6 and I do really like it, we have girls with long hair and a cat and it copes well with everything it needs to. Although the hair can get wrapped around the brush and needs disassembled to clean it out pretty often.
I have a relative who has the gtech air ram and I've tried that too and think I prefer that to the dyson, the suction seems slightly better and is more flexible to charge although it's a bit of a faff having a separate handheld one.
