ti think Cadbury should have changed their Creme Egg packaging re trying to discover the rare white egg!

Ds ask for a Creme Egg last week and I noticed about half a dozen eggs with the tin foil scratched. No doubt people trying to find the elusive white egg!

Do you think that Cadbury just cba and went ahead with this silly nonsense.

The thought of eating a normal Creme Egg lately makes me feel queasy (don’t make them like they used to) never mind finding an even more sickly white chocolate egg. Confused

Not suggesting that it's a marketing ploy to get you all to buy multipacks, but a lot of you are buying multipacks..

It's gross isn't it? I'll only buy them in boxes for this reason. It works out cheaper per egg anyway.

I said to dh today that it’s probably going to have a bad effect on their sales overall tbh. People aren’t gonna wanna buy them at the minute because of people opening them. Yuck!

VivaLeBeaver · 10/01/2018 17:34

I bought one the other day and actually went and opened the box underneath the top box as all the eggs in that one looked suspiciously like they’d been fiddled with.

Not buying any this year because they've all been tampered with. People are too lazy to read the ingredients when they can just scratch the foil with their dirty fingers. Cadbury should have realised this would happen - there must be thousands of eggs that need to go in the bin!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks Cadbury should have given a lot more thought about this. What were they thinking when they had their advertising/sales meeting (or whatever it’s called) and some bright spark came up with this elusive white egg ‘hunt’ (actually can’t even imagine how bad it’s going to taste) and no one thought about the ‘scratch card’ foil on their eggs.

Actually I’m no longer a Cadbury fan, their Roses chocolates are now much the same as their Creme Eggs, bloody awful, sickly sweet chocolate, what have they done! . I used to love Roses & Quality St at Christmas but only buy Quality Street now.

I said this in Tesco yesterday to a friend who works there. There where ripped ones and ones pretty much completelty unwrapped. Pretty grim I won’t be buying any boxes or not right now.
