To wonder if I can get away with wearing a tiara?

Getting married this summer, simple dress and discreet pearl jewellery. Would it be awfully tacky to top it off with a tiara?

My DSis wore something like that and it was lovely. I don't think she wore a veil. My DM had a jewelled band around her hair which was up in some kind of elaborate bun/beehive. All very tasteful and pretty and not at all OTT. We're an ordinary family!

This was my tiara, although we married in January! A tiara is always suitable for a wedding, whatever the season.

Yes it was new, not a family heirloom or anything. I'm trying to remember where I bought it from, I've got a feeling it was eBay! But from a business seller. My other wedding jewellery was from Glitzy Secrets.

It'll be our 7th anniversary this year and the last couple of years has seen my tiara be claimed by our daughter for her dressing up box! 🙄
