To start divorce proceedings (lighthearted)

Just need a little rant.. very lighthearted

Get a text message from my husband this morning (he has a day off) saying he's going to make some chocolate brownies today. I'm like yes! yum!

I have had a rubbish day at work and was really looking forward to getting home and eating a huge slab of chocolatey/ caramel heaven. Was extra good at work and avoided all left over Christmas treats so I could indulge

Walk through the door and NOTHING!! 😭

The shitbag didn't make it because HE didn't fancy it after buying all the ingredients.

Surely this can be used as grounds for divorce?

Im sure you are trying to be funny bit as someone going through a divorce i have total sense of humour failure.

HundredYearOldMan · 08/01/2018 21:51

So disappointing! Hope you have emergency chocolate in the cupboard. Brownies don’t take too long - you could make them?!

LyraPotter · 08/01/2018 21:51

Definite grounds OP! It should be illegal to tantalise someone like that and not follow through Grin

Cleanermaidcook · 08/01/2018 21:52

Ltb!

NoParticularPattern · 08/01/2018 21:53

Ah the professionally offended are really on form tonight!! I’d suggest that if you’re sensitive to anything divorce related then you don’t click on anything with it in the title. Much less something which also has lighthearted! You’re the master of your own destiny and all that.

YANBU OP. You should 100% LT brownie teasing B!!

MamaBearto2 · 08/01/2018 21:53

@ferriswheel It was never my intention to offend anyone with this. I'm sorry if you have taken it that way.

MamaBearto2 · 08/01/2018 22:01

Make him go to tesco and buy some quick sharp. Then divorce him. Wink

KeepTheBloodyNoiseDown · 08/01/2018 22:19

Ltb, that definitely comes under unreasonable behaviour.
Tbh I think the judge would understand if you buried him in the back garden, are you considering a new patio any time soon?

MamaBearto2 · 08/01/2018 22:21

@KeepTheBloodyNoiseDown Funny you mention a patio.. we are having some landscaping work done very soon!

Bake some brownies, do not offer him any and sit there and eat every single last one of them. That is what I would do or even better bake them to share with your colleagues at work & not with your husband. They have shared their treats with you so you are obliged to reciprocate....

MamaBearto2 · 08/01/2018 22:28

@YesMam Great idea!! Don't worry about my staff.. they are well looked after 😊

YesMam · 08/01/2018 22:33

MamaBearto2 it would piss my dh off mightily if I shared home baked treats with work colleagues & not him. I'd do it to make a very sharp point....I'm petty like that! 😉😂

MamaBearto2 · 08/01/2018 22:34

@YesMam I like your style!
