My grandad used to make me the best porridge growing up.

I can never get it creamy enough.

Help me out 😭

To get them creamy you need to keep stirring and agitating them.

Like a risotto. Something to do with the proteins

Cedric I am have them 'raw' often, with just a little bit of sugar or raisins. It's just 'base' muesli, isn't it?

Thanks for the pinhead tips. I cooked it really slowly and really long, so I'm guessing that pinhead really might not be for me. Sigh.

Use pin head oatmeal not the crap in a box! It's harder to get but it's the best!

100ml oats, 200ml water, pinch of salt. Microwave 2 minutes. Done.

Stir then serve with apple sauce. Yummy.

1/2 cup of oats, water and full fat milk. Everything in the pot at once. Leave alone till bubbling. Delicious.
