Just watching a programme we recorded over the holidays about the recording of the song and it is quite simply the best ever song imo.

God i hate that bloody song! Not keen on most of their stuff to be honest. It all seems to go on and on and on as well ...

Sparklingbrook · 07/01/2018 17:15

I hate it too. As a child I found it really creepy and it goes on far too long. I don't really understand what was so great about that song or Queen TBH.

YellowVinyl · 07/01/2018 17:17

Body Language is my favourite Queen son.

Best song ever is Donna Summer - I Feel Love.

catlovingdoctor · 07/01/2018 17:18

Listen to or sai chi l'onore, sung by Edda Moser.

Bananalanacake · 07/01/2018 17:20

I thought it was called bohemian rap city. Until I saw it written downGrin

spangles1963 · 07/01/2018 17:22

I love it. I am not a massive Queen fan tbh,and when I really like a song by a group that I'm not generally a fan of,it tends to be one of their less well known ones. I do like Freddie Mercury though. He seemed like such a nice bloke, and was a cat lover. Anyone who loves cats can't be a wrong 'un in my book!

It can't hold a candle to Three Times A Lady.

BadTasteFlump · 07/01/2018 17:25

I love Queen and appreciate that song for how original it was/is but it's not one of my favourites.

I watched a programme about Freddie last night - it was so sad, I always thought he seemed lovely and was right up there with the best singers/performers Sad

Rebeccaslicker · 07/01/2018 17:39

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Poor old Kanye west. Even his ego isn't as large as Freddie's talent!!

Oh @hesterton. Did you start snogging during the slow bit? What happened then when you got to the headbangy bit?! I’m envisaging some sort of headbanging snog.

BigBaboonBum · 07/01/2018 17:49

It’s amazing, as are many others by them. I get all weird when thinking about how amazing queen were really, and how absolutely once in a lifetime having somebody in the world like Freddie was, I feel truly appreciative that some people blessed our earth and he is one of them. I cried watching their documentary....

...I’m pregnant though so more emotional than I probably should be. Cried for 4days on and off watching Dumbo, so

IpanemaChica · 07/01/2018 17:50

Not my favourite song of all time but I do love it.

nousername123 · 07/01/2018 17:50

I agree OP. Just musical genius. Perfect song!

DorisDangleberry · 07/01/2018 17:52

Worst no.1 in history. Three terrible songs inexpertly knife and forked together with over the top guitar wanking

TheDailyMailIsADisgustingRag · 07/01/2018 17:53

@bugbaboonbum

I always cry when I watch anything about Freddie Mercury! When you think that if he was diagnosed today, he’d probably have lived into old age Sad.

I heard a great story about how he and Lady Di used to sneak into Royal Vauxhall Tavern with Lady Di dressed as a man so she could and enjoy the entertainment unrecognised! Don’t know if it’s true, but sounds good.

InsomniacAnonymous · 07/01/2018 17:53

I detest it. I'm going to hide this thread as reading the title means I've now got it as a sodding earworm and when/if I eventually get rid of it, I don't want to see the title again.

TSK! Angry

PerryPerryThePlatypus · 07/01/2018 17:54

I love all their songs. I am old enough to have seen them at Slane Castle as a teenager.
Nothing but noise on the wireless nowadays.

betgilroy · 07/01/2018 18:11

Amazing ground breaking song.
My favourite Queen song varies though.
They had so,so many hits.
I read a book by his former partner about the last years of his life. So sad.
Love the fact he loved cats too

NotACleverName · 07/01/2018 18:18

Overrated tripe, as are Queen in general.

NerrSnerr · 07/01/2018 18:29

I love it. Our old record player died when playing the single (used to play it endlessly).

I love all the Queen stuff, the later stuff is difficult to listen to at time though.

FaceOddity · 07/01/2018 18:35

These Are The Days of Our Lives makes me teary. Especially the video where you can see how frail and ill Freddie looks. Gets me in the heart everytime.

lucertola28 · 07/01/2018 18:41

I love

lucertola28 · 07/01/2018 18:44

Pressed send to soon!

I love Bicycle Race

I may sometimes sing it in my car when I see lots of cyclists 🚴🏻‍♀️🚵🏻‍♀️ 🚴‍♂️
