To think CBeebies Andy has outgrown his haircut...

... and general manchild schtick? Unlike Chris Jarvis, who I swear must sleep in Tupperware, his face is definitely taking on a craggier aspect.

I know they aren't an item! But I can dream.

I don’t mind his hair but I can see where you’re coming from. Quite fancy myself a bit of Mr Bloom though Grin

Librarybooksandacoconut · 08/01/2018 17:34

Andy's brother installed our bathroom. He looks just like him except with a neat short back and sides.

G1ggleloop · 08/01/2018 17:37

And my must be around 36/37 as he was in my year at college. He had a short crop all over then. Looked better than the mop he has now

Whiterabbitears · 08/01/2018 17:37

I've just remembered that we saw Andy in panto in Bristol a few years ago. Snow White if I recall. Just a little pointless add from me here.

TheHuntingOfTheSarky · 08/01/2018 17:39

I read the other day he's 36. Also,I think his fiancé is called Kat so that explains confusion with the other Cat Smile

CorbynsBumFlannel · 08/01/2018 17:57

He has quite prominent ears so I think the haircut is to disguise that.

Figgygal · 08/01/2018 18:51

I'm 37 next week he must be older than me he's got terrible crows feet Grin

coffeecow · 08/01/2018 21:43

Fatima Whitbread 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I think terrible thoughts about Andy Day. There was a someone on here with the username WildNightsWithAndyDay or something that always used to make me chuckle.

My friend and I went to watch him do his dinosaur raps at a local zoo. We’d bought some knickers with us to throw at him during his set but realised that it would be mortifying in a crowd of 15 toddlers, and deeply inappropriate.

WindyWednesday · 08/01/2018 21:48

I’ve met Chris twice, he is so lovely, very handsome and very naughty eyes. Also not very tall.

Andy I thought was gay??

SylviaTietjens · 08/01/2018 21:50

I thought it was the other way round windy and Chris was gay. There’s enormous sexual chemistry between Andy and the geeky dinosaur girl. I’d love an after hours episode of dinosaur adventures, like they used to do with Hollyoaks.

WindyWednesday · 08/01/2018 21:51

Chris is, but I thought Andy was too.

WindyWednesday · 08/01/2018 21:52

I saw Andy in panto a couple of years ago. But I saw Chris recently and had a chat. Love him.

PanannyPanoo · 08/01/2018 22:00

I think floella Benjamin must share Chris' Tupperware bed. She hasn't aged in 40 years. She must be stuck inside a bubble of air from the 1970s.

TheSameCoin · 08/01/2018 22:05

I bloody love Andy. His calm yet cheerful persona got me through so very dark days with a refluxy baby and a whiny toddler. He can do his hair any way he likes.

PandaPieForTea · 08/01/2018 22:05

I’ve often wondered, and I think this might be the thread to ask on, what happens to old CBeebies presenters? I sometimes worry about what the do after CBeebies and whether they’ll have saved enough to retire.

TheSameCoin · 08/01/2018 22:07

It’s ok Panda. The BBC sends them to a lovely farm to retire. They’re allowed out every December to do panto.

I worry about this toopanda! While they’re with CBeebies the main presenters don’t even tend to do panto which must be a nice earner. I guess they’re tied up with their contracts. Then when the leave they’ll have to do panto somewhere rubbish like Torquay as they won’t be as famous. There can’t be much income from just occasionally popping up to do bedtime stories.

SylviaTietjens · 08/01/2018 22:09

I’ll volunteer to adopt Andy when he retires. Do they have an age limit on the presenters? I can’t imagine Andy being able to pull off the red dungarees look for too much longer.

Anymajordude · 08/01/2018 22:13

I think his hair's too dark. Does he colour it?

mewkins · 08/01/2018 22:14

We saw Andy's time travel show at the local theatre about 2 years ago. He is very funny and was happy to totally take the piss out if himself.

GeorgiesBoat · 08/01/2018 22:19

Mr Blooms accent is fake chocolatestrawberries ?! SadSadSad
