Chorizo is SO overrated. It's one of those new fangled foreign foods (i.e a food that has become mainstream in the past 20 years. See also, hummus. Hummus is bland crap.) whose allure completely alludes me. Too pink, too chewy, too blah.

Gimme your iberico hams, your parma hams, your serrano hams, your pastramis, your niche Spanish blood sausages...............but please, you can keep your quite crap really, chorizo.

Chorizo is rank, I don't like many Latin sausages, too fatty and not enough umph. Give me a good German, Polish, British or Scandi one anyday!

I've never had chorizo that didn't have a hard bony mystery bit in it. As a result I haven't had chorizo for years
