There was a thread about a family that was on holiday, I think in a caravan. They had to leave really early in the morning to escape these weird people in the next caravan that were creepy and kept wanting to join them on walks.
My dp was deciding to book a camping holiday and I suddenly remembered the thread. Desperately trying to search for it but I can’t find it. Please put me out of my misery and share the link. Or remind me more of the details. Even better if the lady is out there still please tell me you are safe and well and they didn’t find you in your home!

Gawd, no one ever wants to talk to me but husband is very approachable and has loads of friends. I’m wary of this happening when we go away - we’ve been lucky so far!

We got latched on to at Butlins by a weirdo couple with a DD similar age to our DS. They went on and on, performance parenting.

"Show me your sign language! Show me Hello. Look how she loves it! Do the alphabet... You know, I cook all meals myself. She's never had anything touch her lips that I didn't make.."

Saw them everywhere we went. With DD in her pushchair at 4 yrs old eating a bag of wotsits!!! Nothing wrong with wotsits btw, just not home made are they?!

That Lake District holiday thread is probably the best thread I have ever read on mumsnet.
