AIBU to buy my parents a cordless vacuum for Christmas

Over the years I've bought them countless gifts for meals out weekends away or tickets to shows and I never ever hear them say they used any of it. I'm inclined to believe they either let it go to waste or give them away. They just don't like socializing.
Last year I bought them individual gifts and when it came to ds birthday they had left the receipt of the jumper I had bought my dad which was exchanged for ds birthday gift in the bag this doesn't bother me but again I failed to get them something they like. They live in a small two bed and it's only two of them so I thought a cordless vacuum might be a nice gift after I recently bought one for myself I am really loving it. I haven't seen them yet but I'm having second thoughts is it a good present or should I run change it now Hmm they're in their late 50s

What else would you get? If they just exchange everything you get them then vouchers might be the way to go. Although I bought myself a cordless vacuum for Christmas and I love it!

I bought my sister one. Some people were a bit Confused about it but she liked it. I got one previously for my mum and she liked it too.

I bought myself one a few years ago and love it, I bought my mom one and she absolutely loves it too. Best thing I've bought for the house!

Do it, if you think they'd use it?

We bought a cordless vacuum in the Black Friday sales, however I would have been chuffed to have it as a present as it makes vacuuming almost enjoyable. Wink
