To not know what to do

A present we ordered online for dd hasn't arrived - something she really wanted. Our own fault, didn't order early enough to be guaranteed Christmas delivery. It'll probably arrive on the 27th or 28th. I've thought of plan A and plan B.

Plan A is to 'find' it down beside the couch where santa leaves the pressies and be amazed at how it fell down there and none of us noticed it till a few days later.

Plan B is for santa to leave a note saying the elves left it behind or dropped or something and he'll arrange for it to arrive soon, and it'll just appear one day.

Thoughts? We don't want to hold onto it till her birthday (months away), want her to have it for Christmas, from santa.

(Getting next year sorted in October!!)

It's all good, thanks everyone. She's not 10 for a while. We did the letter and she's delighted. She seems to really believe, which I'm very surprised about - but then she's big into fantasy, unicorns, stuff like that. (We won't let her off to secondary believing, don't worry!) Hope everyone had a great day Smile x

Honesty is a lot more important than trying to be clever.
