Ex on benefit 7 years now

Am I being unreasonable that I'm pissed off with my ex sits on a benefit for 7 years now while I work two jobs, have the children 8 days a fortnight. And his excuse is " its my home job". What the hell ? What does that teach my kids, work ethic? I pay almost 1000 a month in child support because he's violent and a control freak.

If you can prove violence against the children can you block his access? If they arent with him surely he doesnt get child support. Sounds like a very shit situation for you and the kids op

Why do we have this drip feed about other countries laws?

Can you send them with secret bodycams or recording devices? Extreme situations require extreme measures. I think if I thought my dc were at risk of physical harm I’d be fraught the entire time they were gone. I hope you find a resolution soon

How much do you earn?! I just used the child support calculator and you should only be paying him that much if you earn about $250000 per year

What an odd law though. Never heard of anything like it, why should you have to pay him if you're the main carer
