To ask if this could be Mirena Coil?

Hi, been skulking around for ages, finally decided to join and ask for opinions. Am posting in ABU for traffic.
I have a mirena coil for heavy debilitating periods. I am 38 and for the last few months I have started getting periods again getting heavier. I have also had joint pain, horrendous PMT like feeling suicidal once a month, migraines, loss of libido and weight gain.
I wondered if it means that coil is not agreeing with me. Doc says perimenopause and has given me progesterone tablets. I have been taking these for a month but no change. She really didn't seem to be listening. She just seemed firm about not removing coil as she said well we will have terrible periods back. Tbh I would rather have them than feeling like I want to die every month.
I mean I am open to the idea of perimenopause, my mum had hers start early 40's. I just feel so awful like I am cracking up. It's not normal for a menopausal woman to feel suicidal every month is it? Am very stressed. Dh not being sympathetic, I think he just thinks I am a lunatic. Keep bursting into tears.
Alot of family stress at the moment, can't bother my mum with it because she has a lot on her plate right now.
Please be kind. Has anyone else had similar?

Have a look on this website to see if any symptoms resonate with you.

Perimenopause doesn’t have to mean years of shite, flock. If it is peri, then you can hopefully find some HRT that suits you and you can feel loads better. If you are sensitive to synthetic progesterone then you can use urtogestron, along with oestrogel. There is lots of info on that on Menopausematters.
It is very confusing at first, so much info. You could post exactly the above on MM, and there may be someone in Germany who can advise.

As you cannot access your UK GP, you might find this helpful:
I think Dr Currie is genuine and sensible (although I haven’t used this service myself).

I just want to feel better. Like myself. I can't even make decisions about simple things like what to eat.
I don't have any strength left

Also, this article explains that the worst menopausal depression can occur in the peri phase, and without the classic hot flushes.
www.studd.co.uk/reproductivedepression.php
It also described the tests required and possible solutions, ie transdermal estrogens (oestrogel). This bit is under the heading Climacteric Depression.

It helped me to realise that it was changes in my reproductive hormones directly causing my awful feelings, and not ‘me’ if that makes sense. It helped me to get a little distance. Even if you aren’t peri, it sounds as though there is a hormonal factor. Flowers
