Apologies if something similar has been posted before.

Why go to a cat cafe instead of volunteering an hour of their time to a cat rescue or similar?

crunchymint I can promise you, hand on heart, our cats are absolutely fine. We took on the last one in November, she was a stray living under a shed, absolutely tiny little thing. We agreed to foster her for CPL until she was spayed and then rehomed direct from us.

But we have all fallen in love with her. We have three bedrooms upstairs and downstairs we have the living room with an enormous cat tree and the conservatory with two squishy sofas and another cat tree. All our cats gets on fine although the boys are bemused by tiny cat's behaviour now she is in season (she is being spayed next week).

Our cats have everything they need including access to outside and a ton of scratch boards, fresh cat nip, and toys. Loads of fuss and attention and left alone when they want peace.

I wouldn't have kept tiny cat unless she fit in with us and our existing cats. Their welfare is my utmost priority.

Ive been to the one in Manchester a couple of time, they all seem very well looked after they have a private area they can go to and lots of stimulation / relaxing places to sleep.
They also promote adoption from a local animal charity so I think its great
Cats protection go a bit over the top I think, I volunteer for them and some of the policies are Shock
