I like a radio times it’s part of the Christmas tradition it’s the only time of year I buy one. I am a idiot though because I bought one yesterday and it’s the wrong bloody one, only goes up to 22nd. It’s got holly on it and everything which surely only belongs on the Xmas edition Angry

It's tradition.
Christmas can only start when, and in no particular order:
1 You've heard little children singing and got something in your eye.
2 You've had the Christmas Row
3 And the Christmas Cry
4 The house is properly clean because Father Christmas won't come if the house is dirty or there are trip hazards on bedroom floors
5 You've replaced the Christmas chocolate you bought in early December
6 The Radio Times is properly marked up and relevant page corners folded

It's a christmas tradition! In our house, the pages get torn out and used to wrap delicate decorations when the tree comes down in the new year.

liquidrevolution · 18/12/2017 17:36

Those of us on the Christmas bargains thread signed up for 12 issues for a £1 in November cancelled on receipt of Christmas issue

I love the Christmas radio times. We only have freeview though.

liquidrevolution · 18/12/2017 17:37

Cross post with Mimsy Grin

I love the Christmas Radio Times. I have my highlighter pens at the ready and am getting started on the TV picture quiz. Mind you I like it all year round, because Alison Graham their TV editor has more or less the same taste in telly as me and fancies all the same men so I can rely on her judgement as to what I’ll like watching.

Pumpkintopf · 18/12/2017 18:27

@CanIBuffalo absolutely!

@FishinthePerculator that's a great idea!

BusyBeez99 · 18/12/2017 18:31

We buy both here and get the highlight pen out

GeekyWombat · 18/12/2017 18:31

Always Radio Times and it has to be done (I may be biased - I have highlighters AND post it notes for our :))

MrsJayy · 18/12/2017 18:37

rightsofwomen · 18/12/2017 18:49

I buy a Radio Times every Xmas and we don’t even watch that much telly over the festive period.

liz70 · 18/12/2017 19:06

divadee · 18/12/2017 19:12
