I'm 36 - thinking of asking the hairdresser for this today but am worried it might be too young for me?

It's lovely and not esp young-looking so I wouldn't worry about that, but it does look hard to maintain. The gorgeousness of the style is mainly how it's been tonged/blowdried and the colour will pricey to keep up. But if you're on top of all that then go for it.

You are not too old for it and I like that look but I would get the hairdresser's advice on how well it will work with your hair and how much maintenance it needs.

I have the hair type which this style works with but I'd never cope with the maintenance level. Fortunately my hairdresser knows me well enough to tell me this

If you don't have it, in 20 years time you will look back and think "I can't believe I thought I was too old for a beautiful haircut when I was only THIRTY BLOODY SIX"

What the fuck though on age limits on hair styles - not in the 21st century surely? If you've got the hair/cash for extensions to do it, then do it, irrespective of age.

Are you planning on having the curls or is it just the colours you want?

I have that style (in auburn) and have to curl it every day, it is high maintenance, but looks lovely.

Oh and I am 44!
