What is the point of pages on MN? Why would you not just read a thread as one single thread?

Is there any reason? Surely a single thread is easier, whether you're on a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

I can't think of any scenario where pages are better; but I'm willing to learn.

Just change your settings, it’s very easy.

As for bookmarking .........urgh

Single page, flip it to read a long thread from the beginning, have your own posts and OP posts highlight3d to find them easily, bookmark the last post that you read to easily find updates.
That’s how I MN anyway. Old skool
