Hopefully HBC, HMC Hana, IloveDolly and the like are able to read through this thread and realise that ALL of these reasons are what equate to other people lives and that they are better off not speculating much less judging! There are far "worse" things to speculate over I'm sure!

So yes, you asked.. and you are being unreasonable.

This wouldn't bother me tbh.

What does make me sad though is the numerous times I've seen parents mooching through superstores late at night, looking at stuff like sofas or kitchens, with obviously exhausted, cranky kids who are just beyond it and need to be sleeping. A couple I saw the other day were smacking them for whining instead of thinking "ok, it's 9.30pm, they've had enough".

I certainly accept totally that on some occasions the kids HAVE to go along for some reason but when it's couples you see together, I do think it can be more about selfishness and not putting the kids first and simply organising things a bit differently; you can both still choose the kitchen, just get a brochure, look at home then one parent stays at home with kids - stuff like that. It is not ALWAYS necessary to drag them round.
