Where to go on next date? (Bet results at stake!)

Picture the scene: you're seeing someone. The next day after seeing them, you've got a big and challenging event coming up. They say you won't make the event. You say you will (you like a challenge).

So you make a bet with them: if you do manage to make it to the event, you choose the next date. If you don't make it to the event, they choose the next date.

So any ideas? Where to go for next date? (London-based).

Asking for a friend Wink

Active thing then food. Cinema dates are shit, I never understand why people do them. You cant talk to your date. Cinemas are where early relationships go to die.

Ok good point about cinema and ice skating! :) thanks!

So probably an active thing then food. Museum/art gallery/sporty thing then a meal somewhere?

I'm just completely stumped on where to go! Sorry Blush I know you've all given me lots of fab ideas so far!

It would be on a Friday evening. We still don't know each other that well, so I wouldn't want to choose something that he'd hate. I'll of course confirm it's all okay with him before we go, but just want to do something really fun and random but not very pricey. Feel really stuck on how to meet all of that criteria.

Bump :)

Just completely stuck on which restaurant and activity to do. Want to keep it reasonably cheap but really nice! (Not sure if I can tick both boxes Blush)

So far, (with huge thanks to everyone for their ideas on here!), I've thought these could all be options:
Crazy golf
Raclette bar
Mulled wine
Comedy store
Borough market.

What do you all think? Not sure how to combine them or which one would be best? (I'm incredibly indecisive Blush).

The indoor crazy golf places are quite fun, there are quite a few.

Ice skating is a bit cliche.
Cinema is crap. You can't talk like PP says.

Maybe go and listen to free ice music this friday then head up to the rooftop bar?

Shoreditch crazy golf and then Dishroom

I've suggested the Comedy Store and Chinatown or maybe crazy golf - I think both of us are keen to keep the costs down, so I'm worried about suggesting anything too pricey! The free music at the Royal Festival Hall sounds really good, but unfortunately I'm not free then :(
