Housing estate etiquette?

There are a couple of kids on our estate that play and ride their bikes across everyone’s front gardens and drives. Is this normal? I’ve not lived on an estate before now and wouldn’t dream of allowing my kids on other people’s. Our cars now been scratched twice by these kids but they’re feral and the parents don’t care.

Yes I’ve spoken to them, it doesn’t take long for them to be over everywhere as soon as they think nobody’s there.
The houses are all privately owned here but only three aren’t rented out. One of these neighbours must have complained to the landlady. She’s coming out tomorrow to see as I’ve queried it.

No PCSO’s round here and tbh I doubt that’d do anything but antagonise the parents.
No where else to park, we’re in a cul de sac so each house has their own drive with garden in between. Parking anywhere else would block the whole place up

If the parents won't do anything, and your landlord can't help, report deliberate damage of your car to the police.

What do you class as deliberate damage though? Damage has been done due to them riding their bikes up between the cars and scratching them or falling off the bike onto the car. Neither of which I would class as deliberate, my point is they just shouldn’t be near them at all.
