I mean, I am so so angry with him. How can one man cause so much hate, so many problems, ruin so many good things, and cause such problems in the Middle East.

I hate him. I want to do something, but don't know what. Are there some petitions out there I can sign? Marches I can go on? How do we stand up against this narcissistic, racist bleep bleep bleep who is ruining everything and causing bloodshed???

There's everything you can do!

The only reason you think you can't do anything about it because your not interested!

What can you do? Well, if you're an American (like me) then register and VOTE in the midterms. In the meanwhile, campaign and volunteer with your local Democratic party. Educate yourself on issue and be able to state your opinions with examples. Be a pain to your local elected officials if they support Trump and his policies by calling their offices, sending emails, and making phone calls.

If you are in another country, stay informed of your own politics. Be active in your country's political life. If it's happened to us, it can happen to you. If Trump visits your country, attend protests. If your local politicians praise him, let them know in no uncertain terms that their jobs are on the line.

Above all, if you have American friends/family or meet any Americans who are as upset as the majority of us are, let us know you sympathize. Let us know that you know that 'we're not all like that'. Tell us that you stand with us, even if only by offering your sympathy and support.

AcrossthePond55 I am registered to vote and voted Johnson last time around, and probably would again in the mid term.

I don’t actually know any Democrats. But I’ll be going into town next month.

The reason things like Trump and Brexit happen kursk is far to many people go oh I don't care what can I do.

Indeed in the wake of Brexit (a result I'm massively unhappy with but accept before anyone calls me a lefty remoaner I'm pretty much nether) people were going well I presumed my vote wouldn't count I didn't engage with the campaigning so just voted leave cos I thought everyone else would vote stay. Yes well if everyone goes oh my vote won't count I'll either abstain or not care guess what happens, those that do care get a free reign. The far right are very very loud and because so many people go oh my vote doesn't count look what happens.

You could even find a liberal party to get involved in rather than a domocrat if that's your party. Invest in the issues both local and national because it does effect you and you can do something about it.

The majority of us on this thread are not American we're still interested because it affects our local and national view.

Well it will, but you know the Donald says it didn't happen because Moore "completely denies it"

Good news from Alabama this morning (not for Trump, though). Though at the time of writing, Moore is demanding a recount for no good reason except he won't cocede. Which further proves what a piece of shit he is.

I was just coming on to say it looks like the democrats have won Alabama.
Moore demanding a recount is in line with Trump himself who said he'd only accept the results of the presidential election if he won!
Trump seems to think it's a weak decision and the republicans will have another shot at the seat in a short time. I think it's prehaps and I might be getting carried away, the tide turning.

Also if you put up a candidate who has sex offences hanging over his head then you deserve to loose.

Although to be fair Trump seems to think if you say it didn't happen then it didn't. So I suspect he'll protest Moore's innocent. Trump even says it wasn't himself on the billy bush tape. Which bush has said it was.

Ah well 3 more years of this I guess.

Sexual predator and utterly dreadful rider - I was wincing, watching him bounce around on that poor little horse’s kidneys and saw at its poor mouth.

Minor league stuff compared to what he’s accused of, it goes without saying. But it speaks to the arrogance of the man. I hope to god he has lost.

Ha. Well good luck with that recount, because yesterday the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that the digital counting records didn't need to be kept - reversing a court decision of earlier the same day.

They'll still have the paper ballots to recount, though.

1. Horrifying news. Election protection advocate John Brakey won an important order earlier today 2 compel Alabama's SOS John Merrill 2 preserve the voting machine ballot images, which can detect & thus hacking. Merrill just got the order overruled by the AL Supreme Court.

“If the race goes to a recount following the election, Alabama’s recount laws won’t do enough to protect voters’ votes because it has no audit structure in place and relies on re-tabulation—where ballots that were tabulated by optical scanners are now re-tabulated by machine,” Verified Voting president Marian Schneider said in a statement. “If a recount occurs, it cannot be relied on to detect and correct a potential error in the computerized count unless it is done manually.”

Trump was damned if he did and damned if he didn't with Roy Moore. Up until the very end Trump was not supporting him. He did not support him in the primary election. Once Moore won the primary Trump did the minimum possible to support Moore and there was much talk in the media about republicans asking Moore to stand down. When Moore wasn't willing to stand down the White House (aka Trump) got behind him almost in a fashion where it was obvious that he didn't want the guy to win.

I think it will come out in the future that the primary election that put Roy Moore as a candidate was tampered with. I live in a democrat town. Voter fraud is rife between the democrats.

who Do you live here in America? I live in a Democrat town and voter fraud is a huge issue which is regularly brushed under the rug. We just had our mayoral election and someone distributed racist posters about on of the candidates. The man accused lost the election. The man who won is oh so humble. Reality is no one in our town has a problem with a minority being mayor. They do have a problem with racism and would never vote for someone where there was a hint of racism.

Truth be told the democrats should have won the election by a landslide. It shouldn't have been close. The democrats, in my opinion, continue to have a huge problem connecting with the electorate. Until they fix their problem they won't win 2020.

Also I think Trump made a huge mistake by coming out to support Moore. He was talking about draining the swamp during his campaign. Moore is part of that swamp.

who I never said he is doing a good job. I think he is doing a terrible job and him coming out to support Moore is going to be his downfall. If he was as smart as he says he is he would have sat this one out and said nothing.

I'm also offended with his performance in Puerto Rico. He was throwing paper towels at locals. Who does that!?!??

CNN reported that Steve Bannon was licking his wounds, recapping his lessons and would bunker down to fight again.
Fox reported that Pres. Trump was busy phoning people to ask for their advice about what went wrong.

I have many amused thoughts about that reporting

And the democrats failed to connect with more voters. There is always common ground. The fact that many didn't vote is indicative of lack of engagement.
