As a manager I would expect my staff to come in to work
I wouldn't have much sympathy as plenty of people have little sleep and they still manage to function and go to work
Also, I would be wondering how on earth you will cope with work when you have a baby to look after

Can you go in and at least try and see how your day goes?

If it's too much, ask to leave early or take a half day?

Go to work, you will be ok when you get there. Yes speaking from experience here

Go to work you massive skiver! Shock

Do what you think is best. Only you know how you feel / how much sleep you have had / what time of work you do etc. Only you can judge whether you can go to work and do your job. Do you work weekends thou... because it's only a couple of days and then you could sleep all weekend?

You know whether your ‘tired’ due to lack of sleep or ‘exhausted’ so can’t function to do the work necessary to a safe standard.

I find when I’m tired due to poor sleep I’m better off continuing to work because sleeping during the day causes me to Then not sleep as well at night again iyswim?

Good sleep hygiene would be better to solve this.
