To be a control freak about the Christmas tree?

The kids decorated it which is lovely but i got twitchy about correct spacing of baubles. Aibu?

My op was a bit tongue in cheek as i love that my tree looks like an elf has vomited on it.... a still get that twitchy feeling though!

It would make me twitchy too. Hugely. DS used to help but is too cool to be involved these days. Except to complain the year I didn't put any red baubles on. I went for tasteful copper, silver and white. So I redid it to add red and always put lots of red on now.

Some years I try to move stuff around and he says he preferred it they way it has been in previous years. For instance we have a load of Santa figures in various sizes and I usually put them all on the hall table. Last year I put something else there and bit he and DH moaned a bit. I think the like the comfort and traditions of th familiar.
