Posting here for traffic,
One of my mindees is very poorly in hospital and has been there since Monday night. I'm in regular contact with Mum and Dad but I'm hoping to go and visit little one tonight as I'm missing them terribly! I want to get little one a gift ( cuddly toy ) but also want to make a comfort package for the parents can you please give me ideas of what to include Tia

My kids love those freaky Beanie Boo toys with the big, round, sparkly eyes by Ty. They come in a bajillion colours and different animals like this lot.... The little ones are not very expensive here in Australia, so they're bound to be pretty cheap in the UK.

For the parents
Chcolate, fruit and snacks
Magazines
Small travel toiletries - wipes, deodorant, toothbrush and paste.

To be honest innthis sitiation the best thing for the parents is to look after any siblings, help with school runs, make a hot meal for them to eat when they pop home to change etc.

I've offered to help with sibling but so far it's not been required. So far I've got
Hand cream
Lip balm
Tissues
Wet wipes ( can never have too many )
Mini toiletries
Coffee sachets
Cuddly toy ( will apply bandage on arm just like little ones)
Some snacks, crisps, sweets and chocolate
( little one isn't eating currently but maybe a treat will them)
Adult colouring book
Magazines for parents
Was also thinking about some travel mugs with being on a children's ward ?

Some fruit, it can be hard to eat healthily and avoid convenience food when constantly going to/from hospital.
