Salmon for Xmas dinner

Decided on a change this year....less fuss....less cooking....more time for eating chocolate and having a relaxing time. Just going to bake in oven with lemon juice and butter. Can you suggest a sauce to accompany this apart from parsley....going to do new potatoes, green beans and carrots.

Another awesome accompaniment for salmon is grilled/pan fried little gem lettuce (cut in half lengthways), which is also a sort of 'winter lettuce.' The flavour transforms when grilled - it's delicious, a bit special and dead easy.

Would go with that chili thing I mentioned above

We always have salmon with a dill sauce on christmas eve. Goose and the trimmings xmas day.

Oh and definitely green veg with Salmon with a cream/ dill sauce.

I'd say spinach and broccolli , have lemon wedges so you can cut the richness and a bit of garlic with the salmon when cooking - enjoy!

Thedevilmademedoit beat me to it, I would go for Hollandaise for fish. Asda sells it if you are looking for ready made. my uncle would serve his homemade one warm, directly out of the pan.
