I very much enjoyed the thread. I just can't understand how politicians get away with telling the most outrageous lies and the media doesn't challenge. Like the claims of record spending in education. And the spend over pupil? Way down. Lying bastards.

Amazing! Never have I had such contempt and disgust for a politician than I have for Hunt....

It's a shame we have to rely on actors to challenge lying politicians. Unfortunately the media have mainly given up on challenging statements unless it comes from Corbyn (when they can be bothered to give him any airtime) and then they're scrutinised to the nth degree. The BBC was recently criticised by a watchdog for allowing their 'journalist' to sit and nod whilst Nigel Lawson spouted the most outrageous bollocks about climate change.
