To send DS to school when DD has V&D

DD has come down with Vomiting and diarrhea overnight. I'm a SAHM and shes 2 so its no big deal apart from the constant peppa pig she's demanding
DS(4) obviously has school, DP is at work, no family within 200 miles so i have no option but to take DD with me to drop DS off.
This is apparently completely unacceptable (according to the playground police) and I shouldn't have DD anywhere near other kids.

So AIBU to take DS to school, even though hes perfectly fine because it means taking DD?

Wrap her up in her buggy, cover down and run in and out. Everyyone has to do it at some point.

You are not bu at all. You can't keep one child off for the other child's illness. Ignore playground police.

What playground police? Last week my 4 yo was sent home for vomiting. Next day he had to come to school to drop off and pick up big sibling. People said hi, hope you feel better soon. He said 'im not ill' and was a bit annoyed that he couldn't just stay in the playground all day 'i won't go inside mummy, just play outside'. I couldn't keep big kid off because little one is poorly! That would be against the rules!

Ignore the playground police, whoever they are.

You can't just keep your school age child off because his sibling is ill. I never did that. If he is fine himself then he goes to school. End of story.

School started hours ago so I’m assuming you have taken him?

You can easily drop him at reception if you were worried about others getting the bug
