To think if you say you're going to treat someone to breakfast you don't call them at 11.20!

Argh!
I hope he sees this (he knows I mumsnet)
Who the hell, at 8.30 says hey I'll get you breakfast this morning so you can take your medication, what would you like? Then at 11.20 calls, having gone ahead and got themselves a breakfast, eaten it, and says oh why haven't you taken meds yet??
Uh because you promised me my favourite food you idiot! And now I'm past the hunger point!
I get it, I could have just got something for myself. But I'm in agony, I'm struggling.
'Oh I forgot about your food, mine was sooo good though!' 😡😡😡

Ltb right??!

Definitely LTB!

Thank you. Feeling a little sorry for myself. Oh don't get me wrong, I'll make lunch (which I eat at 12 anyway- strict timing on food intake to coincide with medication) but what an absolute bloody twat.

Why not ask at 8.45/9 where your breakfast is? Then you would have still received it...

FeelingAggrieved · 16/11/2017 12:48

@Nikephorus that is 15 minutes later. Who forgets 15 minutes later? I wouldn't appreciate being asked so soon after offering either.

Ltb

My point was that if you think someone has forgotten you remind them, you don't complain hours later. She could have chased him at 9.30am if that pleases you more - the point is the same; don't be a martyr, be pro-active.

hotbutteredcrumpetsandtea · 16/11/2017 12:52

so you just sat there for 3 hours and never said a word or asked where your breakfast was? Confused

Why?
