Fiat Multipla.
We had the older, quirkier version. Has 3 individual seats in the back, and the 2 seats for passengers in the front, so you can have a spare seat for giving people lifts, or you can put two car seats in the back and two adults in the front, or vice versa. We bought ours when I was pregnant with our third child so we had a spare seat for taking school friends out, but kept it when the fourth baby came too.
We'd had an awful time trying to find a car to fit 3 car seats in the back, or 2 seats and an adult. Most cars didn't have enough room, the cars seats trapped the clips for the seat belts so they could shatter if we'd had an accident, so discounted most cars we tried because of that. Also considered a Citroen Picasso, but dh found the A-frame got in his way of seeing out when driving, must have been to do with his height and driving position, but that might be worth looking into for you.
Our Multipla had removable seats so was superb for transporting big items, eg for taking old fridges etc to the tip. We did find the boot slightly small for us, but for going on holiday you could just take a seat out, leave it at home and put suitcases where the seat was; or use a roof box.
I don't know what the newer version is like, probably similar on the inside to the old one we had, I just know the outside is different. But definitely know it's worthwhile at least looking to see if it would suit you.
