Just because people don't agree with you does not mean they are "dimwits". As for falling off the side have you never heard of the biblical dome firmament enclosing the earth? Why should stars not be visible from a flat earth?

DH works with a flat earther. He also 'doesn't believe in satellites'.

Getting back to the point, flat earthers are idiots because if there were anything at all to it anybody who can scrape up a couple of grand could run experiments to disprove the globe idea these days. But they don't for some reason...
