To ask what makes you happy?

I seem to have lost my way a bit in the last few weeks, I've had a stinker of a cold so haven't been pursuing my hobbies, and stopped exercising until I was feeling better. I've descended into eating junk, generally feeling knackered and have lost my get up and go.

Work is good, husband and kids are good, nothing to complain about really just feeling a bit meh!

So what do you do on a daily basis that makes you happy? I'm looking to start forming some good habits to get myself on top form.

Having absolutely nothing to do is heaven. I'm manic 24/7, so being able to sit down in the quiet with a book is heaven and sadly rare. It is such a delicious feeling when it happens though!

Silence. DH gets up earlier and goes to bed before I do so I make sure that somewhere during that time I get at least 15-20 minutes of silence a day. No TV, no radio, no voices, just me and my random thoughts.

a clean house
nice food
good wine
good company- whether it's friends or family i don't mind. I realised recently (after many many years and many kids) that DH is my best friend, it feels reassuring. I have 'my best friend' and lots of good friends, but he's my goto. And that makes me happy

An organised tidy house.
