Everyone seems to be raving about it so I am terribly tempted! Mind u, I already have a traditional pressure cooker.

I am fascinated by trying different recipes and buying different cuts of meat and cooking them in the oven for hours and hours! The longer it cooks, the better it taste imo.

So should I bite the bullet? Dump my 1-yr old pressure cooker and buy the instant pot? Or shall I opt for a cheaper slow cooker instead.

I have the Pressure King Pro 5ltr, it was £50 in Currys a few weeks back. I was sceptical but I doubt I could live without it now. It also has a browning feature and the slow cooker feature. The trivet is crap though so I bought IP trivets for it.

Orange chicken in there is amazing, as is spaghetti and meatballs. Chuck in frozen meatballs, sauce and dry spaghetti and it's done in 20 minutes. Amazing

Hi, we have an ageing steamer (you know the ones with see-through baskets) that we use for cooking rice because it has a delayed start function. We leave at 7:30 in the morning then come home to chilli (slow cooker) and rice (steamer) at 17:30.
Our steamer is broken! 🙁 will we be able to use this in the same way? As a delayed start rice cooker??
