With no ill effects, what would it be?

I’m eating some rye sourdough toast with butter right now and I never want it to end.

mumisnotmyname · 06/11/2017 23:49

Cheese and wine, I think cheese and wine parties should be brought back, they died out before I ever got to one!

Khaleesi0 · 06/11/2017 23:50

Potatoes for me! They’re my weakness, strangely not bothered with chips but everything else... mmmmmm!!!!

oldlaundbooth · 06/11/2017 23:52

CAKE.

oldlaundbooth · 06/11/2017 23:55

Ever had the warm duck fat off roasted duck confit?

Not even funny.

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 06/11/2017 23:56

I'm going to say chicken skin too. Lol at you op with your frozen skin. I would have done the same Wink

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 06/11/2017 23:59

Chips butties

Then as I wasn’t putting weight on eating them I could indulge a little with cheese and chocolate

HateIsNotGood · 07/11/2017 00:05

Any food that anyone cooks for me and just presents to me on a plate wit little or no effort on my part. Heavenly and wishful thinking. Meanwhile I make do with whatever I fancy.

abbey44 · 07/11/2017 00:05

Oh God, carbs....the carbier the better.

Diabetic, on a low-carb diet to shift some serious weight (it's working), and keeping focused, but in an ideal world I'd just love to be able to stuff my face with toast, croissants, jam doughnuts, pasta, rice, baked potatoes....you get the picture. Isn't ever going to happen, sadly Sad

NotJustThreeSmallWords · 07/11/2017 00:16

I'm so glad you added "with no ill effects" cos I'm lactose intolerant so WELSH RAREBIT TOASTED SANDWICHES PLEASE!!!

WellTidy · 07/11/2017 00:17

whenthestarsturnblue · 07/11/2017 01:34

Is it bad i just had a breakdown trying to decide between:
Shepherd's pie
Dominoes pizza
Terrys chocolate orange
Chocolate in general
Thick ice cold chocolate orange milkshake

I absolutely love orange flavoured things. Don't know why but there we go. And it's not a pregnancy thing.. just always liked it

SergeantAngua2016 · 07/11/2017 06:08

Gravy. If there's any left over I sometimes just drink it.

LaurieF · 07/11/2017 06:12

Cheese, pork crackling and toast with "real" butter... mmmmmmmm

notsohippychick · 07/11/2017 06:15

Ok forget my previous answer of chicken skin. Welsh salt marsh lamb, with mashed potatoes made with proper welsh butter, creamy and salty and fluffy. The most heavenly combo I’ve ever tasted. I made it the last time we were holidaying in Wales and would go back for that alone, aside from the fact that we love it there!

Ginglealltheway · 07/11/2017 08:29

Marzipan

Whatwaswrongwiththatusername · 07/11/2017 08:30

A tough one, but as we’re choosing meals now, rather than just one particular food, I’d have to go with sushi! GOOD sushi/sashimi (obviously! None of this supermarket rubbish!), with ALL the different raw fish. I think I’ll allow myself to include sides here too. So that would be mixed tempura and some perfectly cooked chilli squid. Can I wash it down with some lovely, chilled champagne? Interspersed with a good vintage Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Oh, how I wish my budget were more aligned with my tastes...! 😔

Pickled onion monster munch

BBTHREE76 · 07/11/2017 10:35

CARBS!!!!

More specifically - If we are choosing meals then mine would always be "buffet". I love a bit of everything as I can never make my mind up what to have.
