To think if you buy a costume for decoration purposes....

Then you shouldn’t complain about it’s quality? 😆

I just found this review on Very and am a bit perplexed as to why someone would have a Harry Potter themed nursery for their baby and then complain about the poor quality of the costume(...which is hanging on a door without a door handle 😳) when it won’t even be worn 🤔

😂

Well this is all very bizzare isn’t it.

Op, of course she can complain if it’s crap, it’s weird to post about it on a public forum and even weirder to then get all angry and tell folks to get lost.

Hmm

You can’t post on a forum then tell people to get lost when they don’t agree with you 😂

HateSummer · 03/11/2017 14:26

Actually I was finding it amusing until I was called snarky and odd for having my own sense of humour and not agreeing with her.

I can tell people to get lost if they’re going to start nitpicking and provoking by calling me snarky and odd.

She is perfectly reasonable to leave a review if she wants. Personally though, I’d spend the time dealing with the nightmares the child will be having with that thing hung on the back of the bedroom door.

It's pretty difficult to nitpick at a single sentence, such as your op is. Rather, I took it at face value. I sometimes complain about shoddy goods too. I thought that was normal. Confused

I still don't see why the person can't complain about it being crap quality.

If I ordered a picture of the mona lisa to hang on the wall and I received a badly painted version of it, am i not allowed to complain as it's only for decoration? Confused

00100001 · 03/11/2017 16:37

and maybe the hangnig on the door is just for the photo and not it's "final" location??

HateSummer · 03/11/2017 17:00

Yes and it’s perfectly reasonable for someone to think it’s funny too 🙄. I’m still laughing at it in my head.

001.. your example doesn’t even make sense because a painting is supposed to be hung on a wall. Costumes aren’t.

But a crap product is a crap product. No matter if I hang it on a door or wear it.

I don't get why you can't see that?

If I buy a nice silver spoon intended to stir things or be used to eat, but put it on a shelf instead, because it is a pretty spoon and I think it will be a nice decorative touch ... And the spoon that turns up is crap and made out of tin foil...

IT'S STILL A CRAP SPOON!
