AIBU to server meringue puffs with....

Double cream poured over them, instead of Whipped cream? I have some people coming over to eat. I have tried and liked Meringue Puffs with double cream poured over them but wondered if it is too odd to serve them like this to other people?

I'd actually prefer double cream over whipped, but I have odd tendencies when food is concerned...so I have been told.

OMG. Thank you so much for all the posts! I will offer whipped and pouring cream on the side, so people can choose what they want. Sounds like the safest option after reading what everyone's views!
