The best chippy in town has online ordering. Which is, of course, fantastic. Big fan! what I’m not so much a fan of is the “order history” being stored on your account so it slaps you round the belly every time you log in that’s just cruelty in my book. I don’t need to see the proof of my greed when I’m about to indulge yet again. I am however very glad they have so many different delivery drivers

But I so miss the samosas from the old Sweet House near my old house. They were amazing. Never had anything like them. I might have to ask my sister to bring me some on the train :o

Don’t ever use TopCashback for takeaway, it totals how much you’ve spent and then you’ll end up crying in the shower thinking about the holiday you could have had if you weren’t such a fat cow who loves Chinese

Dh is such an important customer for our local chippie that when an order went wrong (severe cock up, tbf) that the owner called round to our house to apologise in person.

We have ordered the same meal on the first Friday of each month for over 2 years now. We don’t order anymore, the delivery driver knocks on at 8.10pm and we hand over the £25 and then take our food inside to watch Netflix.

Last year we moved house, and we didn’t even have to remind them or call up. I’d been telling the delivery driver (same one each time) about our move and he just jotted down the address in his phone and turned up at our new house with our ‘normal’ food with some extras for the kids the night we moved in as ‘me and the staff though you wouldn’t want to be cooking tonight’ - all free of charge too!!

Ordered from the local Indian after 6 weeks of dieting. The delivery driver said, 'Long time, no see,' as he dropped it off....
