Toddler poo consistency

Needadvicetoleave · 28/10/2017 21:40

I'm not the poo troll. Someone on my other thread suggested a food allergy and a thread on cloth nappies suggested most toddler poop is mostly sold.

AIBu to think my toddler 22months may not be normal as his poo is mainly runny?

What's a normal consistency for a 2 yo?

DS is 25% solid.

That's good.

I taught a young person who was only diagnosed with CF at 16. Her results as a baby were just under the threshold and she did not show any significant symptoms until last year of school.

If you are concerned go and see your GP.

Oh, that's terrible. DS1 was diagnosed at 5, I thought that was appallingly late.

There are some very rare mutations that don’t show on the heel prick test. They are very very rare though (I don’t want to worry the OP). My DD has CF. She was diagnosed from the heel prick test. Her poo was very loose and fatty and she went after every feed until she started her creon.

Yes I should stress that CF poo is very different from toddler diarrhoea.
