I really want one. They are so pretty. Lots of different beads and things that can be added.
But are they a bit common?

I am torn.

They are really tacky IMO

What about the Monica Viander thread bracelets which can be personalised and ‘stacked’ by wearing a few together?

They look cheap. Alot of people selling them on fb selling sites so not badly priced now. If you like them go for it.

They are extremely common. Even more common than hardcore Joules attire to give you an idea. Does it really matter though? If you care about looking a bit common then you must be a common yourself no?

I like them and have various bits from there as like modern designs so am very fussy about jewellery.

bracelet
I’ve got one of these , and I wear it all the time
You can add charms on it too ( I think )

If you like it, then why not?

I am a completely skint single mum on benefits (there's a back story, honestly) and have been what most would call working class all my life. Truthfully, I think Pandora bracelets are tacky. But, you know, each to their own. ... I also think massive diamonds on the ring fingers of rich people are tacky, so maybe my view is a bit weird.

I've been looking for a charm bracelet, Pandora is out of my price range, and I'd like to keep it quiet, so I don't get random ones from people. I've seen the nomination ones and quite like the look and price of them, but they feel tacky. Would be easier to have a random bracelet or two and then have significant and meaning full ones all together though.

Not heard of the trollbead ones before, not at all keen... The 'gem' ones (ie all the round beady ones) are nice but I prefer the shaped ones and don't like theirs at all.

I have a charm bracelet but not Pandora. A friend gave it to me when I was her bridesmaid and dh and the DC have bought me charms for it from various places like eBay. I love it and have dropped hints about more charms for Christmas

Another vote for Monica Vinader. I love mine.

I have a Pandora and a thomas sabo that I do wear every now and then.

I detest them and I love bracelets usually -I think they look so clonky and cumbersome (and tacky, sorry!). I saw people lining up outside the Bicester Village store once and couldn't believe people were actually waiting in line to buy beads!
That said, it's personal choice and I don't judge anyone for having one -whose to say I'm right and they are wrong!

Who gives a chuff what others think? If you like them then get one.

I have a silver one that I don’t wear often and a leather one that is on daily. I buy a charm whenever I go on holiday to remind me of that trip. I couldn’t give a shit if they are common tbh.

I think they're awful. All these Pandora, Nominations etc, I really dislike them. But I am clearly in the minority as lots of people seem to love them.

If you want one, get one!

I think they're really pretty. I do not have one but had no idea they inspired such contempt! A bracelet - who knew!

I think if you like it, go for it! Yes, they are a bit common now, but they are also very personalised. I had the usual silver one bought for me by ex-h. After divorce I sold it on e-bay and bought a dark grey leather one with only five charms on it, but each one has a special and specific meaning, I won't add to it and I wear it all the time stacked with other bracelets.

I also have an old fashioned charm bracelet I got for my 21st but I never wear it because the charms get caught on everything and it drives me mad.

I have a pandora bangle which I just use as a basic charm bracelet. Ie I don't have that many "actual" pandora charms for it. I find things eg seaglass on beaches and get that made into a charm for it. Like a pp, I wear 2-3 charms on it at a time to match the colour of my outfit.

The clasp is quite fiddly though so I don't wear it that often esp in winter when I have long sleeves and bracelets can't really be seen anyway.

I've got the bog standard Pandora bracelet with god knows how many charms. But also I've got the lobster clasp one (which is quite hard to get now) with the one charm — no spacers, safety chain etc... I think it looks a lot better, and less "common"

I am fond of mine but have kept it very simple - nothing Disney or twee. Pandora charms are stupidly overpriced despite often looking very cheap. I’d have a look at a catalogue first and price up a fully loaded bracelet. Then you’ll know how much you want one.

My dd was given a Pandora bracelet by a relative who gives her a charm each Xmas but unfortunately she won’t wear it as she says it catches the hairs on her arm!

"It's her birthday and Christmas presents sorted for the next ten years. ."

See, this is one of the things I dislike about charm bracelets in general and Pandora in particular. I used to work in a jewelers shop in the holidays when I was a student. I nearly lost my job for saying to one rich customer (within earshot of the manager), " maybe your wife would appreciate you thinking about other things she might like?" Fortunately, the manager saw my point of view when we had talked about it :-)

Pandora is grim.

There are plenty of non-branded less common charms and bracelets out there.

Pandora is so popular because it appeals to unimaginative doofus husbands and over-sentimental wives.
