Gym goers ‘smashing it in the gym’ ‘gym sesh done, smashed it’ followed by 👊🏻

An event where someone lends support by saying ‘smash it guys’ or ‘you’ll smash it’

How do these bloody awful phrases ever catch on? I’m going to have to delete all social media I’m fed up of seeing plant based meals with any sort of hash tag. Pictures of people going to the gym (video of them in their gym gear walking so basically feet.) in the gym, after the gym #aftersmashingitglow

Turmeric lattes
Meatless Monday’s
Green juice
Protein drinks
Sugar free anything

I’m a fairly heathy eater, I exercise I’ve also been known to have a turmeric golden whatever latte but I don’t feel the need to overshare my every waking moment.

I saw an Instagram video of a minor sleb walking yep just walking with a tumeric latte..no words just her bobbing along the pavement waving her righteous cup of unicorn pee.

Is it just me that is fed up of this wave of narcissistic behaviour?

I almost had a paprika tea yesterday as the spice went flying straight into my mug when I was preparing dinner. I also went for a waddle - does that make me a winner ?

Also I'm not 100% sure what a chia seed is but it sounds like a kids toy...
I believe 'bossing it' is another expression, used in the same way 'smashing it' is......people, just let me sit on my sofa with my cats and my pringles in peace scrolling through pictures of cats in Halloween outfits.
I'm getting quite pregnant as well.....I try and stay active but I can promise I will not be posing photos of me at Aqua Yoga #smashing it whilst I drink my protein shake....there are things people don't need to see....when I work out I go for it....I look like a sweaty miss trunchbull when I'm done.....anything less is wasted effort.

Not unless you took a video of your feet whilst waddling

Ha, I can tell I'm old, I know no-one who 'smashes it', drinks turmeric lattes, or takes photos of their food.

Finally something about middle age which is good.

chai seeds get stuck in my teeth - not an attractive look Blush

I have soya milk (ethical rather than health reasons)

I am very boring though about announcing my steps, I'm going to announce when I "Smash the 10k steps/ Smash the 14k steps........" Grin

"Pain au chocolat for breakfast, smashing!" "Second one too, smashing" "Planning to eat the yumyums next, smashing!" #dietfail #notquitetumeric #moreofawobblybellybumpthanafistbump

Oh and another! Perfectly lovely picture of people then the tag line ‘a few cheeky proseccos with this one, be rude not to’ or ‘cocktails with the bestie’ what?! Middle aged women calling each other besties, I’m tempted to ask if they wear their pjs to breakfast in hotels too.

I've a friend who is currently taking part in a popular weight-loss-programme and feels compelled to send me photos of EVERY SINGLE MEAL she eats.

FFS, she'll be sending pics of her poos next.

What kind of solipsistic vanity makes people think that others will be so interested in their bloody dinner that they want to see what it looks like?
