Yes, I’d expect you have (sorry).

How can you miss 2 mortgage payments and , not be sure what happened?

harlondon · 24/10/2017 23:45

was short by small amount on both occasions
was away once and thought there was enough to cover it

Look at your credit score, thatll give you more help than we will.

Moanyoldcow · 24/10/2017 23:47

Are you in arrears or was it just a few days late?

Hotheadwheresthecoldbath · 24/10/2017 23:50

Go to moneysupermarket.com.They are offering a free credit rating, whether you would be ok for a mortgage and advice on improving your credit rating.

DaisyRaine90 · 24/10/2017 23:51

Noddle.com is a free credit check site. It will tell you

DaisyRaine90 · 25/10/2017 00:14

Expedia and Experian are used by more banks etc. There is a graph somewhere on Money Saving Expert which shows which banks etc. Use which credit check agencies. Smile

19lottie82 · 25/10/2017 00:26

Caulk your credit score won’t tell you anything it’s just a made up number that no one sees apart from you and the credit referencing agency that uses it as a marketing tool.
The fact is the OP will have 2 late / missed mortgage payments on her credit history (History is important, Not score), so that’s what’s important and what potential lenders will see.

Daisy , true, but these things take 6 years to drop off your credit history.

DaisyRaine90 · 25/10/2017 00:40

Not been my experience at all 😊

safariboot · 25/10/2017 00:59

Agreed with what 19lottie82 said. You can get your "Statutory Credit Report" from each of the three agencies - Equifax, Experian, and Callcredit - for £2 each. That's the same information lenders get to see.

You can also get a "Notice of Correction" added to your report, a short statement by you explaining the situation. If it's something like you should have paid £125 and you paid £124 then that might be worth considering doing.

condepetie · 25/10/2017 02:08

Clearscore.com is what i use for checking my credit score. Don't pay to see it.

harlondon · 25/10/2017 11:46
