Until August I was in a housing association home and got offered a house (after bidding) to a council property.
The house itself is about 25 years old but have decorated it nicely.
Just spent £700 on carpets ...but last week I bidded on a new built property and somehow finished the bidding in 1st place.
I've been offered a viewing but would I be stupid to put myself through moving again.
Where I am now its 5 mins from town but this house is about 15 min drive, but this has never been lived in,modern etc
What do I do?just stay here or risk it?
I've spent a fortune on this house (decorating etc)
Basically I'm confused

You wait ages for a house then 2 come along at once!
Go and look, then decide. Viewing doesn't cost anything.

We do have low income.
I'm on less than £13,000 per year as Is boyfriend.
All our decoration was from b&m,wilko.
Most expensive thing was flooring.

Il go to the viewing with a open mind, like people have said doesn't hurt to look.

Has your bf changed jobs then?

Substandandsea44 · 20/10/2017 14:42

My boyfriend recently has gone back into painting /Dec after working off shore for quite a while.
Obviously the painting /Dec he does for himself so he is fighting against others for work.

I wouldn't move then or it will just have been a monumental waste of money doing the place up that you are in now!

Substandandsea44 · 20/10/2017 14:51

Your right, don't know what I was thinking.
Thanks for your advice

Stay where you are.

Your house sounds very handy for school/town.

New houses stop being new after a while!

Brittbugs80 · 20/10/2017 14:57

you were dithering about moving into this house because it wasn't done up, now it is and you want to move again. Why

This isn't the same one who spent £400 on hair extensions rather than the £700 on carpets is it?!

aSleepyPrincess · 20/10/2017 14:57

I do get it, I live on right move thinking something better is always out there!
Usually though I realise I am fine where I am (unless I win the lottery of course )Wink
