DS(15) has just pulled me up for baking gingerbread men and not referring to them as gingerbread people. He maintains that I'm showng a bias I usually pull other people up for. I suggested they're gingerbread men because it's more fun to dunk them in hot tea or bite their heads off. He has left the room in disgust while taking a couple to munch on
