Has anyone had any success or bad reactions?.
I don't want to smoke or vape it. Just use a dropper preferably
Thanks for your help.

Interesting, I like the idea of this as I can't take nsaids and have a lot of joint pain.

maxthemartian · 18/10/2017 13:28

Dame have a look at turmeric and black pepper capsules also. It's referred to as curcumin.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/10/2017 13:31

I've tried that before and it kicked off GERD unfortunately max

maxthemartian · 18/10/2017 13:34

Ah bugger, sorry to hear that.
The cbd oil should be significantly more effective anyway.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/10/2017 14:14

Right, I'm going to read up on it. I can only take paracetamol and quite frankly I'm worried about how I'll cope as I get older and creakier!

charmedrose · 18/10/2017 15:04

Supposed to be highly beneficial for arthritis i've heard.

This sounds very interesting

If I was using it as many of you obviously do, beneficially. Can I drive or would I get done if stopped by the police for any reason?

Thanks

I’d love to find out more about it, I have fibromyalgia and joint hypermobility syndrome, I’m really struggling with symptoms at the moment, house is upside down. I’m so depressed trying to hold down Work as well as single parenting, mortgage etc .
I have so many side effects from prescribed meds, I hurt 24/7 and
I have no family and feeling so alone and desperate atm I could really do with some hope.

Jellyheadbang · 08/12/2017 01:07

damediazepam I cant take nsaids either, really want to increase my options.
I also need to know cost implications as on limited budget.

Insomnibrat · 08/12/2017 01:26

Off the back of this thread i decided to order some of this.

I had to get up off the bed to grab my bank card. I stood on the hairdryer plug, now my foot is bleeding, ive had to cut a flap of skin off with scissors and I'm stressed to bits.

I'm not rating it's stress relieving benefits yet! Grin

Jellyheadbang · 13/12/2017 08:07

Insomnibrat sounds like my life...

maxthemartian · 13/12/2017 08:14

Mumsy you'd be fine to drive and do everything as normal. Maybe plan not to the first time you try it to be on the safe side.

Jelly I'm so sorry that sounds so so tough.
A lot of people with fibromyalgia use it with great success and are able to reduce their medication. It's well worth trying. You just need to have a two hour gap between taking that and any medication as it's metabolised along the same pathway.

MrFMercury · 13/12/2017 08:49

I'm interested in trying it out as I live with complex multiple disabilities but i think I'll ask my GP because I'm worried about possible medication interactions. The idea that a couple of drops under my tongue could help is very tempting :)

onedaywewillfly · 13/12/2017 09:15

I tried this for depression/anxiety/pain. I got it from a small independent health food store in town. I developed a small rash on my hips/side of thighs, so I stopped taking it immediately. I was on sertraline at the time so don't know if it reacted with that, or if it was a coincidence? I've been wanting to try it again but I'm a bit scared. I couldn't find much online about it causing rashes in people. It was like prickly dots close together.

It also seemed to increase my appetite, but I wasn't sure if it was the cbd oil or other meds. Weight gain puts me off as I have BDD so that would make me mentally worse.

I came off my meds a few months ago anyway so now would be a good time to try again. I almost asked my psychiatrist what she thought about cbd oil but then chickened out.

cooliebrown · 21/12/2017 10:10

has anyone used this to help with giving up weed smoking at all?

Eliza9917 · 21/12/2017 10:37

I'm giving it to my dog for her cancer (osteosarcoma).

Her first x-ray showed no metastasis to the lungs, 3 weeks later before an op to amputate her leg, there were small dots on the x-ray. 2 months after the op we had another x-ray and they have barely increased at all so it seems to have really slowed down the spread of the cancer.

butterfly56 · 21/12/2017 11:12

OP look at Holy Basil.
I was looking into CBD Oil first but could not find enough information to persuade me to take it.

So I tried Holy Basil and have been on it for nearly 12months.
I looked up the reviews on Amazon and after reading them thought it was worth a try.

It has been amazing for me especially with the sleeping pattern which was really really bad.

Health Monthly sell the Swansons Holy Basil Capsules at the best prices. Flowers
