To ask ... how much bog roll do you get through (ish) in a week? Ps please quantify how many in family home for perspective

Please can you tell me how much toilet paper it is normal to expect humans to use in a week.

Please can you also tell me how many people are living there so I can see how we compare?

I buy a pack of 4 and it lasts the week. 4 of us but dp works away mon-fri. When he's home I buy a 9 pack. I have absolutely no idea what he does in there. He does start new rolls before the old ones ended just to annoy me a bit more .

1 roll a day sometimes in his household, we buy the big packs every few weeks!!

Here we use 9 roll of aldi. We cannot use the thick variety like andrex as everytime we do it blocks the toilet in out new house. So the rolls are thin and there six of us. 3 at home all day.

2 rolls a day without a doubt as I seem to be the only one in this family of 5 to put the empty roll on the bin

Four of us in the house, we go through a pack of nine extra long rolls in a fortnight. Or is it a 12 packet?

One roll. Just me here and DD in nappies.

We definitely used to get through a lot more when I had periods, but have been on mini pill for a few years now and haven't had a period. I only made that connection recently!

It’s three girls here and atm one roll per bloody day.
It’s ridiculous and it’s my student lodger. Every year I have one in the autumn from the same country and they eat the loo rolls

Bloody loads. It's about 4 or 5 rolls a week at the moment. (There's four of us.)
I don't know where it all goes. I think we have an invisible Andrex Puppy that runs off with it or something.

I buy a big 24 Asda pack (only stuff which doesn't block our loo )

Most months we have some left over some months we don't. 2 adults and 2 children dc2 has just potty trained tho so I suspect that at least one roll a week gets wasted!!

When dh is home for a week I always end up buying extra....

We hired portaloos when we got married and the portaloo man told me that some people do what he called "loo lining"- either lining the loo with paper before they go or filling the whole loo with scrumpled paper- in order to reduce noise (this is a big problem in the portaloo world, apparently). How much paper must such people get through? Bonkers.

Family of 5, two adults, one teenage dd, ds (5) and ds (4)- we somehow manage to get through 12-16 toilet rolls a week. I dont actually know how- suspect we have 12 lodgers i have never met with the loo roll usage, amount of washing and abnormally quckly emptied fridge

1 per person, per week is about what we seem to go through. I squish the toilet roll so it doesn't spin round on the spindle as fast.

I do remember my mother raising merry hell about the loo rolls disappearing around the time my brothers reached...erm...puberty.

We are a family of 6 ( 2 adults 4 teenagers, 4 males 2 females). We get through at least one roll a day sometimes more it's ridiculous. I swear the teenagers use half a roll per dump.

The 2 of us in my house can get through roughly 18 loo rolls a month. Just realised that sounds excessive but in our case, its because we seem to be prone to picking up every stomach bug possible, and an inordinate amount of stress induced bowel malfunctions.

6 of us, me and 4 teens and 10 yo. We go through 6 a week usually.

As a general rule, I'd say one per person per week, unless you're at home all the time (i.e. not at work/school etc.) in which case it'll be a bit more than that.
