I'm a frothing mess literally i can't take it. The way it hangs in her eyes and she makes no effort to move it.
Its stopped me being able to watch strictly for years. I'm trying to watch now for the kids but her fringe is unbearable.

Am i the only one feels like this?

I love her and her hair! Mines like hers but shorter and my 4 year old DD asked me tonight if she was my sister, I was delighted!

InsomniacAnonymous · 14/10/2017 20:58

I don't watch Strictly but I have seen her on 8 out of 10 cats which she ruins. Is her scatty behaviour and being incredibly thick just an act then? She's only ever annoyed me.

InsomniacAnonymous · 14/10/2017 21:10

Sorry that should have been 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown

MissEliza · 14/10/2017 21:27

She's one of the few tv presenters I've got any time for. She's warm and funny. I thought her hair had improved massively. Tess Daly is a Stepford Wife IMO. The money she is paid is disgusting.

IrritatedUser1960 · 14/10/2017 21:31

I think it looks great on her.

bobbyshafter · 14/10/2017 21:34

Why are you giving the poor woman a slating? Not very sisterly of you.

Claudia if you are reading you do a great job and your fringe is iconic.

Reluctant2ndtimer · 14/10/2017 21:39

I’m more distracted by how beautifully shiny her hair is Smile

CarbyDiem · 14/10/2017 21:45

It is very shiny. Beautifully shiny,

CourtneyLoveIsMySpiritAnimal · 14/10/2017 21:50

I have no strong feelings about her either way but I do tend to start blinking furiously whenever I see her on the telly. Her fringe drives me nuts and it’s not even on my head. She must be used to it though.

twattymctwatterson · 14/10/2017 21:50

Is it ok to slate a woman for her appearance because she works in entertainment or would you all talk the same way about random women in the street?

picklemepopcorn · 14/10/2017 22:04

I like her, but it makes my eyes itch and blink in sympathy. I'd prefer her to ease back on the tan and neutral lips, if I were being fussy. I think she and Tess are great. Claudia has great comic timing, and carries on the tradition of Brucie's rather clunky jokes.

quickname · 14/10/2017 22:07

twatty it's the fringe in the eyes it's driving me mad. Also our licence fee funding the loony salary of a taking fringe is madness.

PandorasXbox · 14/10/2017 22:12

Don’t watch her then Confused

quickname · 14/10/2017 22:17

I thought it was just me! Every time I see her in strictly I shout at the screen “somebody cut that bloody fringe”! Grin it annoys me no end!

Amanduh · 17/10/2017 20:16

I like her. Shes adressed the fringe/eyeliner/tan before and said she knows some people hate it, but she loves it and it makes her happy, and good for her I say. Nice to see someone on tv who has her own sense of style!

cushioncovers · 17/10/2017 20:19

Yanbu op. I hate that fucking fringe!

ssd · 17/10/2017 20:25

shes got lovely hair...but my god, that pale, pearly lippy does my head in

ThaliaLuxurySpa · 17/10/2017 21:25

"I was born aged 72. All I've ever wanted to do is avoid nightclubs and short skirts. Now I'm officially allowed to stay in, wear socks in bed and eat prawn sandwiches."

How can you not love someone who comes up with thoughts like that? Grin

She's bright (Cambridge grad), funny and warm. And genuinely a bit eccentric and loopy by nature. That, plus rocking the Chrissie Hynde long fringe/heavy eyeliner, is her USP in a world of bland, interchangeable, presenters reliant on an autocue and stylist.
(Lauren Laverne's seems similarly individual and clever, as an aside).

Reckon Claudia's T.V./media 'persona' and look is exaggerated anyway, on purpose (ditto the teak shade of fake tan)...different to her day-to-day style, so as to allow her (relative) anonymity and a family life, and her kids some privacy.
Wise move!

ThaliaLuxurySpa · 17/10/2017 21:26

^ Couldn't be doing with a fringe constantly in my own eyes, mind you!

Whisky2014 · 17/10/2017 23:01

I wouldn't be surprised if she is weating a wig actually..

charmedrose · 17/10/2017 23:39

I don't like her and i think her and Tess Daly together look awkward.

BlackeyedSusan · 17/10/2017 23:46

well, it would seem that fringe in eyes of other people making one uncomfortable is a pretty rare thing.

ho hum.

i am with you,
