Omg I am clueless and really need inspiration and help.

I have trawelled through the tile shops and am so confused by options and styles.

I've got far as like both grey tones or beige tones but then I cant seem to visualise what they would look like insitu.

AIBU to ask you to share your ideas and photos of your recent bathroom renos so i can copy to give me an inspirational boost?

I need to order this weekend - our start date us looming.

Plain white around the bath, unless you fancy re-tiling in ten years time when marble wall tiles become the avocado suites of the future.

Don’t go beige everywhere. It’s very ‘now’. In 5 Years it will look dated.
White with an accent stripe?
I run a cleaning company. Easiest bathroom to clean had large matt Stone (greyish) tiles on fully tiled walls and floor. With a large mirror. It looked a million bucks.

I'm quite liking this one???

White built in sink/loo unit with white counter Top? White shower bath.

Haha @decisions I had those exact tiles in beige around my kitchen worktops. Always liked the grey version and they're subtle so won't date.

We have those (or v similar) OP. 6 years on they still look great.

I occasionally switch the colours of the bathroom towels to update the look.

Don't go for shiny black subway brick tiles whatever you do. We have them in our ensuite around the shower and sink. Look fab but they are a PITA to clean / stay looking clean.

MrTrebus · 14/10/2017 10:32

@NutellaCookie we had those underground tiles in our bathroom, a whole wall of the black ones and now we've moved I do not miss them at all!! The white ones were fine just chucked bleach at them But The black ones showed all the water marks and timescale and I used about a thousand bottles of viakal keeping them clean. Would never have them again!

I have a sort of stacked stone look on one wall with plain grey everywhere else. Also a mirror tiled in shower so dh can shave.

A bit like this although I think mine is less textured.

DropZoneOne · 14/10/2017 10:57

I have something very similar! It's white but a grey/silver stripe running through

I have a black/silver/white mosaic behind the shower bit above the bath - was expensive so just a strip rather than the whole wall.

The flooring is black and sparkly - DD chose that as I was going for grey slate but the black does look good. The towels are bright colours.

NutellaCookie · 14/10/2017 20:34

MrsTrebus yes exactly my problem! I clean them and one shower later they look rubbish again. In my defence I was 7 months pregnant when I chose them and not thinking straight! I also decided to put black tiles on the floor of the same room. These are also a PITA and always look dirty . Hmm

MrTrebus · 14/10/2017 20:42

It's Mr Trebus Grin just kidding

Omg I could not cope if I had them on the floor too. You're brave!

nocake · 14/10/2017 22:11

DD's bathroom has large white tiles, a mix of gloss and matt. They look good but you do need to add some colour elsewhere (she has one bright pink wall). I'm a big fan of large tiles because they're easier to clean.
