It's really affecting me as I am exhausted all day but I can't stop! Anyone know?

If I exercise I sleep better.
Having a cuppa now - cheers! Brew

NotAgainYoda · 14/10/2017 07:30

Me too. Perimenopause

DianaT1969 · 14/10/2017 07:36

Overhead planes wake me up

EvilDoctorBallerinaVampireDuck · 15/10/2017 04:36

I woke up at 3.45. 😴

Hunkle · 15/10/2017 04:41

Ive had a week of it. Its usually monthly for 2 nights, waking 01.00-05.00.

But this past week has been hell. It has reduced me to tears more than once.

Then off I trot to work, after 4 hours sleep. God, I could cry just thinking about it.

My DD also loves waking me up, on the rare nights I sleep through.

WeatherDependent · 15/10/2017 05:36

I’m usually up by 5.30, does my head in. I usually chuck a load of washing in, tackle the ironing pile or mop the floor. Sometimes I just enjoy the silence with a cuppa and MN Wink

EvilDoctorBallerinaVampireDuck · 15/10/2017 05:41

Oh, also, when I say to DH that it's 5.10, time to get up, he'll say "why aren't you getting up?" Because I don't have to leave the house at 6.30, dickhead. Hmm

LaurieFairyCake · 15/10/2017 05:44

I’m up too 😒 Got up to go for a wee at half four and now can’t get back to sleep.

I’m itchy and boiling hot!!! (Probably hormones)

Bobbiepin · 15/10/2017 06:01

@karmanomore I'm 38 weeks pregnant and find myself desperately hungry at 5am. I've just finished some coco pops and now i'm going back to bed!

PrincessPotsie · 15/10/2017 06:09

Me too although I've been waking at 3am for the last few weeks and then spending the day in a daze. Horrible. If I do happen to be sleeping well the DC wake me. I've got four of DD's friends sleeping over so I've had a lie in till 5.30 today as they didn't fall asleep till late so I waited up. I'm waiting for them to wake....

meltingmarshmallows · 15/10/2017 06:18

35w pregnant and awake at 5 all the time. Don’t need a wee, baby not kicking. Really want a cheese sandwich.

I’m so tired this is like torture Sad

Pooshweens · 15/10/2017 06:20

Pregnancy for me! Wake up at 5 on the dot every day and have awful nights sleep every night

You do get used to it, and it does give you time to catch up on chores, reading, shit TV!

ScootieAllan · 15/10/2017 08:00

Me too for the past couple of weeks! 46, maybe perimenopause although no other symptoms. Possibly also fidgety DH.

RemainOptimistic · 15/10/2017 08:04

Clinical depression can cause regular early waking. Check the NHS website see if any of the other symptoms apply.
