Currently laid up on the sofa, 7 months pregnant and have been struck down with the death cold... feeling absolutely horrendous! No family around to have 2 year old so there's been a lot of Peppa pig watched by us so far this week!

Feeling so ill, useless husband didn't bother getting a shop in and used up the last of the bread.. Have just ordered dominoes for the toddler and I to have for lunch and then tea... I'm being perfectly reasonable aren't I?

Plagued by guilty feelings... Have already (slowly and painstakingly) done work that I really shouldn't be doing whilst I'm poorly! Just feel like it's expected for me to power through but I honestly can barely lift my head 😣

Quidco are currently doing £15 cashback on Dominos for new customers. I'm coeliac so can only eat the tiny rip-off gluten-free ones that cost £14.99 and are excluded from two-for-Tuesdays , but at least I got it for free last night!

Not gonna lie, that is my plan for tomorrow (not ordering though, shop bought today) I'm not poorly - just lazy and jam packed full of errands to run. Sometimes, it's just easier to put a pizza in front of them instead of sitting there insisting that carrots and broccoli are the best thing ever, whilst also trying clean up all the bloody pans that have been used to make a healthy filling dinner. Also, I detest cooking and I'm shit at it - if it can't be put in the oven for 20 minutes then I'm over it and we ain't eating!

Used to work for them. Horrendous company. Staff on zero hours contracts, bullying from management, made to pay for most of the petrol used during our shift delivering pizza in our own cars, staff coming to work with diarreah cos they wouldn't pay sick pay, importing Eastern European kids to work for Slave labour money and regularly re dating out of date meat products to save money. Shocks me that they have a decent reputation. Hell hole!

Our Dominoes is always £9.99 a large Pizza if collected. They usually have decent offers as well so can almost always get 2 large pizzas and a side for under £20.
They are franchises so offers vary from store to store, but our local one seems to have it spot on.

Ooooh the only thing I miss about being pregnant is lying on the sofa all day and (once or twice!) ordering pizza for lunch. No guilt. Just pizza.

Tbf hubby is usually pretty good but because I'm not often unwell I don't think he's understanding why I might be miffed...

We got a chicken feast and meat feast pizza, two large ones for less than 20 quid. Plenty left for us to munch on as the day goes on!

This cold/flu is a bloody killer tho... head pounding, shivering away and can barely move from sofa to the loo... My toddler has been so good bless him!

OP have you tried Day Nurse/Night Nurse? It really takes the edge off a bad cold when it’s at its shivery and aching worst and clears the head. Pizza helps too obvs

Love Dominos but the fuckers have stopped doing the Chocolate Melt which was the food of the gods. Their offering instead is their new chocolate pizza. Who the hell wants a sweet pizza after a savoury one? Bastards.

Used to love Dominos but it seems like they've doubled in price in the last few years. They were expensive to begin with but with offers like BOGOF were worth it (just). Nowadays even with the offers they're simply more expensive than they are worth. I swear they go up a couple of quid every year.

I've had Domino's tonight for dinner as well,I'm tired and I couldn't be arsed. When I'm hungry and a good pizza is only a phone call away I couldn't give a fig who owns it or if they worshipped the Zoab the demigod. I'm hungry so will have whatever is delivered.

To be fair to Domono's I was drunk forgot to apply the 50% code. The next day I mailed them saying they had ripped me off for charging full price. The second I pressed send I realised it was my fault.

I mailed them again apologising, telling them it was my fault. Fair play to them they refunded the 50% straight away anyway.

One thing I will never forgive them for is sending wedges in a cookie box. Didn't realise till next morning when looking for my hangover (there's a theme her) breakfast that all we had was cold soggy wedges. Not happy.

Again fair play to them the sent vouchers for large pizza and a side.

You need to get dirty chicken if you’re getting dominos.
