To only enjoy sex in the missionary position

My husband is very tall, I'm very short. Honestly we've tried loads of positions over the years and missionary is the only one I enjoy.

Am I the most vanilla person in the world?

My DH is v tall and I'm quite ave height. Hardly ever do missionary though.Who cares? If you're both happy, go for it!

YANBU, missionary is hugely underrated.

I'd run a mile if a partner of mine uttered the dreaded 'reverse cowgirl'.

If that's what you both enjoy then crack on. Different people like different things. I would get incredibly bored only doing one position but then I wouldn't choose to be with someone who only liked one position. Just like they wouldn't choose to be with me iyswim.

But personally I’d feel a bit lazy lying back all the time while my partner does all the work you're doing it wrong! You should be moving too. The amount of men I've been with who have said how much better it is to be with a woman who doesn't just lay there!

But yeah, missionary is under-rated. For the many reasons listed. It's intimate, you can kiss, you can dig your nails in his back, it feels nice having his weight on you, and you can draw his bum closer to you with your legs wrapped around him! Grin

I hate this too. It's SO uncomfortable, and unpleasant. Done it about 10 times in my life, and never enjoyed it.

It was just an exaggeration! Like saying that the woman being on top requires no effort for the man. What I mean is that it's generally less physically demanding. You can literally lie there without moving a muscle if you wanted to (not that you should!).

I don't think I do on top very well, rhythm wise etc, and it certainly isn't like it is in the movies , all writhing and orgasmic. It just doesn't really do anything for me.

There are loads of positions that work with a height difference but if you both are happy sticking with one, then enjoy - it makes no difference to anyone else.

The only position I like is missionary. I can't get the hang of being on top (same as you Lethaldrizzle ) and I hate doggy - I find it really degrading!

I love missionary. It feels so intimate. I've done loads of non vanilla stuff in the past, and DP and I enjoy a bit of light spanking etc, but we are normally in missionary! Just love the feeling of being so close and being able to kiss etc.

I enjoy it but I like to mix it up.
As long as you're both enjoying it, go for it.
If you want to "spice it up" try missionary in different locations, not just the bed.
