They are nice but can hear them chatting loudly in lounge. Two siblings and flatmate's dad. They are sleeping on sofa. Cheeky or no?

How big is your sofa? Shock

tigerdriverII · 07/10/2017 23:17

Oh go to sleep and stop moaning.

FenceSitter01 · 07/10/2017 23:18

Sounds like an orgy

Notcontent · 07/10/2017 23:20

Sounds annoying. Did she ask you first? I would go and ask them to keep the noise down.

Pancakeflipper · 07/10/2017 23:20

How long are they staying there? If it's just a weekend visit then YABU.

Joinourclub · 07/10/2017 23:22

If it's just one or two nights then no problem. Any longer is cheeky. Did they not ask?

Babymamamama · 07/10/2017 23:25

I'm sure they will be gone soon? At some point you may want to have someone staying over so in your shoes I would put in the earplugs and ignore. Life's too short right?

DorisDangleberry · 07/10/2017 23:27

Clearly they are not sleeping if you can here them chatting. Not sure we are getting the full story

Suggest you burst in wearing just bra and knickers and fart loudly. That will put them in their place

HeddaGarbled · 07/10/2017 23:28

A bit of chatting before 11.30 on a Saturday night isn't cheeky IMO. If you need to get up early for work tomorrow, it's OK to politely ask them to be quiet.

DonkeyOaty · 07/10/2017 23:28

this is your sofa isn't it?

Nochecita · 07/10/2017 23:29

They are sleeping here tonight and tomorrow. But currently chatting. That is the full story, sound ok?

Perhaps I am being unreasonable. I have no problem with them being here but would just like to use my lounge on weekends too Blush

Go out to the pub. It’s Saturday night!

stripysleeves · 07/10/2017 23:30

Every weekend? YANBU.

Occasional visit? YABU. Go to sleep!

stripysleeves · 07/10/2017 23:31

Yes, or the pub!

FeelingAggrieved · 07/10/2017 23:34

Did they tell you in advance?

Ellendegeneres · 07/10/2017 23:35

This is why I couldn't live with anyone else. Noise at night pisses me off. I can't sleep.
My kid likes a light on at night to see his way to my bed- light is off, I sleep in the dark. My house, my rules!

redsquirrel2 · 07/10/2017 23:38

YABU. She's entitled to have her family round. It's not for long. Maybe try and get to know them and have fun? At least loosen up, is it really affecting you that much?

RavenLG · 07/10/2017 23:40

Did your flat mate inform you they would be staying? Do they stay every weekend? If yes and no respectively YABVVU and need to get a life to be honest. It's their flat and they are allowed guests.

CatcherCan · 07/10/2017 23:44

It'd be polite of her to tell you they were coming. But you are being a bit princessy - your flatmate surely pays halves for the sofa, and you can't expect her never to have people round?

teaandtoast · 07/10/2017 23:58

Who pulled your tail, tiger? Confused

Nochecita · 08/10/2017 00:32

They are singing ahhhh
